Motorcycle Enthusiast

Gil loved to ride his motorcycle. He did a lot to promote riding. When he was called to go off for military service for World War II, a motorcycle magazine covered the story of him riding from Hollywood to Chicago on his motorcycle. Later back in Hollywood after the war, he actually taught Marlon Brando how to ride for the film, the Wild One!
